PBFC Rush has a history of player development and applies an age-appropriate training program that develops creative, technical, and intelligent soccer players. PBFC Rush is also directly partnered with the Gulf States Premier League via Coastal Rush and Alabama FC ECNL program. Players also have access to the Rush player pathway, more information below. Top players are invited to play with these teams against the best competition.
Our coaching staff is licensed under USSF and follow weekly on-field lesson plans that will challenge your players to reach their full potential. The clubs coaching curriculum from Rush Soccer is focused on building players that can possess the ball on the ground, along with building creative players that can think for themselves. All coaches are compensated for their time.
All our teams compete in appropriate competitive environments to ensure they are being challenged and progressing.
Academy Teams – Plays mostly local games vs clubs in Fairhope, Gulf Breeze, Pensacola, and surrounding areas. They play in a mixture of soccer playdates (1-day) and weekend tournaments(2-day).
Players are provided extensive support during the collegiate recruiting process with invitations to ID events and college seminars along with college showcase events. Each player is encouraged to maintain a highlight film and professional soccer resume to be shared with prospective college coaches through the CAP Program. PBFC Rush also offer a college ID camp in the Spring to the players.
As a community-based club, we focus on allowing our players and their families to build long term friendships on and off the field. Regardless of any of our players ever go on to become the next All-American, they will always have the memories and friendships from the PBFC Rush community. We have kids from Pensacola, Perdido Key, East Hill, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Elberta, Foley, Fairhope and surrounding areas.
Our players have access to Monday Specialty sessions. This is our third night of training, we encourage players to take advantage of these sessions, but are not required. These sessions are run weekly during the Fall and Spring seasons and are only open to PBFC Rush members at no additional charge.
We are very fortunate to have two training complexes. Our main complex is in West Pensacola, just before the Lillian Bridge on Bauer Rd. We have 6 Bermuda natural grass fields to train on. We also maintain 10 acres on Gulf Beach Hwy that we use for overflow and future club expansion.
“The decision making element in training is crucial in developing players with a high soccer IQ. This is a huge piece in developing players that are not only technically strong but tactically flexible and leaders on the pitch.”
